1968 - 1972:   

Eugene Schroeder spent four years working for Pizza Hut Inc. as an accountant at the Wichita PHI Headquarters.

1972   

PizzaCo Inc. was formed when Eugene and Carol Schroeder opened their first Pizza Hut restraunt in McPherson, Kansas.  At present, PizzaCo Inc. operates eight Pizza Hut units.

1975    

Robert J. Navrat and Eugene Schroeder formed Rural America, Inc. which currently operates five Pizza Hut units in Kansas.

1976   

William Anderson, III and Eugene Schroeder formed Mohave Pizza, Inc.  Mohave Pizza, Inc. operated six Pizza Hut units in Mohave County, Arizona, and one Pizza Hut unit in LaPaz County, Arizona.

1977   

With the opening of the Osborne Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut of Osborne, Inc was formed as a partnership with Eugene's sister, Lucille.  Eugene and Carol became sole owners of this company in 1987.  Two Pizza Hut units are operated by this company in Osborne and Lincoln, Kansas. 

1978    

Eugene and Carol purchased Sumar, Inc., from another franchisee who opened their original location at 1900 N. Washington in 1960.  Sumar, Inc. currently operates 2 locations in Great Bend and one in Hoisington, Kansas

1988   

Upon Eugene Schroeder's death in April, his wife, Carol, assumed his position in the corporations.

Today

The Company operates 22 Pizza Hut Restraunts and  3 Pizza Hut delivery/carryout units.  The Company employs over 650 people.
